Android 7.0 is the latest version of Android OS which started rolling out to devices last year and while the top smartphone brands like LG, Samsung, Nexus, etc., provide updates, brands like Infinix, Tecno, Gionee, Innjoo itel struggle to provide OTA updates to users. But Infinix has started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat to Note 3 and Note 3 Pro users.
For now, only the Infinix Note 3 and Infinix Note 3 Pro models are receiving the update. The new OS come with a new Notification bar, the quick settings page and the settings page. There are some visual difference compared to older versions of Android. Additionally, the software is based on Infinixs’ XOS Chameleon user interface.

Prerequisites
◾ Unroot the phone if it’s rooted
◾Take a backup of your phone before installing this software update
◾ Note that this software is still in beta stage, so expect some bugs and issues.
NOTE:

After downloading the zip package below, copy to root of sdCard make sure you have at least 4gb space on your sdcard.
Now boot device into recovery mode by holding volume up and power button for about 3secs.
When you have successfully navigate to the phones recovery mode menu, select update from zip.
Select the zip package you copied to sdCard
wait for the update process to complete. Usually takes about 10 - 15 mins
When its done, reboot phone.
Also note that first boot takes some time as usual
Infinix Note 3 X601 and Note 3 Pro To Nougat Android 7.0 Using Sp Flash Tool
Open the SP Flash Tool and load the Scatter File from the firmware folder.
Connect your Smartphone to the computer using the USB Driver.
Click on Upgrade Button in the SP Flash Tool to Begin the Upgrading.
Green Ring will appear at the end of successful Upgrade.
Congratulations, Now your Android Smartphone is successfully running Android 7.0 Nougat.
